Essay Structure
Introduction:
Identify title and director when speaking of the film and the author of the original book if available. Briefly give the plot line of the film(s) because you cannot assume the reader knows the story. End the introduction with the thesis. To create a thesis, put the topic in your own words.
Body:
When comparing films, you can pick a topic related to both films and spend a paragraph just on that one aspect.
Or,
you can alternate body paragraphs by speaking about one film at a time per paragraph. The body should be a minimum of 2-3 paragraphs.
Conclusion:
What were you asked to do with the topic? Did you prove it? Restate the thesis and briefly sum up your proof.
